Terrific Trucks

Terrific Trucks is a children’s television show that uses a combination of live action and CG to bring these trucks to life.

My role on this project was to create shaders and lighting that would blend live action footage and CG eyes to make these convincing and fun loving characters.

My tasks on this project were to:

• create realistic shaders and lighting to match live action footage

• light and render numerous shots per day to meet production schedule

• build a lighting rig that could easily be imported and adjusted based on lighting direction to speed up time required to light each shot

• work with the technical director to create scripts to speed up lighting and render setup times

• work with compositors to define required render passes to make compositing easier and more efficient.
